ROTARY'S FOUR WAY TEST
"Of the things we think, say or do:

1. Is it the TRUTH?
2. Is it FAIR to all concerned?
3. Will it Build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
4. Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?"

What Paul Harris Said

In The Rotarian magazine, June 1912

"If the money in this world which is doing its possessors more harm than good could be diverted to charitable purposes, charity would have no financial problems; and it would be unnecessary to intercept the course of any decent, honest dollar going on about its business without homicidal intention…

My work in Rotary is nearly done."

opening

In lieu of the regular Friday lunch meeting of the Rotary Club of McMinnville, Rotarian Richard Weed and his wife Donna hosted a fantastic Rotary Picnic. The event was a wonderful opportunity for fellowship, and was thoroughly enjoyed by the Rotarians and their family members in attendance.

The only formal part of the evening was the invocation, which was provided by Russ Rainwater, and the Pledge of Allegiance. From that point on, it was nothing but festivities!

.

DJ Johnny of Heartland Mobile DJ's (owned by our very own Russ Rainwater) delighted the group with terrific music. Rotarians and guests also enjoyed a terrific dinner prepared by Entree Vous.

Children and those young at heart took part in a variety of games, ranging from horse shoes to boce ball. A clown also delighted the kiddies with his numerous tricks and antics!

"When meeting day comes around, I do not have to decide whether to attend or not, for that has already been decided for me . . . it was one of the obligations I accepted when I joined Rotary." -- A Rotarian
