GREETERS

At the door for the meeting today were Suzie Edmiston and Jack Price, who did a fine job of shaking hands and saying hello to everyone except Gene Zinda and Bob Johnstone, who arrived too late to be greeted. Better late than never though !

The Invocation was delivered with style by Dale Moore, and Skip Huwaldt led off the Flag Salute.

AMONG THE MISSING

V. Bull, M. Colvin, Crowell, Cummins, Davis, Dickson, Eastlund, Farnham, Fitzpatrick, Fourier, Gormley, Goss, Granger, Grim, Hanson, Harjo, Hoy, Huffman, Jahnke, Keck, Larsen, Plews, Saxton, Tankersley, Taylor, Vasquez, and Wright

GUESTS

The guest list today included McKenzie Everingham and Jessie Rapp from the Interact Club with Guy Everingham. Brooke Heller with Lloyd Larsen, Andrea McKenzie with Ray Wikle and Correy Graham of Lazerquick with Mike Strange.

MEMBER RECOGNITION

Cy (Halloween Grinch) Jeter took to the podium again today to raise funds for the Club Foundation from none other than Bob Johnstone who celebrated he and Julie's 19th Anniversary on November 9th, and our Birthday Boys Dale Moore, Randy Steele and Milt Robins. Dale has a new method of calculating what his contribution should be, we think it came from page 79 section C paragraph 14 of the IRS manual. Milt turned 80 today but the local Fire Marshall prohibited us from having a cake in the Community Center. Johannes Goddik made an anonymous contribution in honor of his 6th grandchild being born recently, and Suzie Edmiston is becoming a Paul Harris sustaining member now that she is has her first grandchild. Congratulations to all. Doug Anderson, still reeling from last weeks Linfield victory over Pacific Lutheran, paid a $22.00 fee because "God still loves the 'Lutes"

THE PROGRAM

The Manager of McMinnville Water and Light, John Harshman was here today to tell us a little bit about what the future holds in store for McMinnville. Growth has been a concern in recent years and will continue to be a top priority. Plans are in the works to increase the height of McGuire Dam by 30 feet which should nearly double the storage capacity of the reservoir. McMinnville still has one of the lowest water and power rates in the area but John refused to comment on sewer rates other than to say that they collect the money for the city.

MAKING UP

Guy made a plug for attending an Interact Club meeting at the High School as a make-up. They meet the first three Wednesdays of each month in Room 70 at 11:45 AM. Meetings generally last twenty to thirty minutes.

Working on good attendance records, the following reported makeups for missed meetings. Barnett (3), Benedict, Howard, S Larson, L Larson, Wright and Goss.

"When meeting day comes around, I do not have to decide whether to attend or not, for that has already been decided for me . . . it was one of the obligations I accepted when I joined Rotary." -- A Rotarian
