ONE SHOT PROJECTS: One shot projects generally have a beginning and an end. These projects may involve member participation or just financial help or both. Such projects include:
Construction of a skateboard facility in Joe Dancer Park
Construction of the "Recreation Station" in Upper City Park
Construction of a flag pole and monument at the McMinnville Senior Center
Construction of water fountains in parking lots and tennis courts
Provision of Lifeline Service to Yamhill County
Construction of a thirty-three acre nature park on the North end of McMinnville. The park is being used by the entire community and especially student groups for the purposes of studying native flora and fauna.
ON GOING PROJECTS:

McMinnville Rotary provides one scholarship annually to a Yamhill County student attending Linfield College.
Each year an Art Scholarship is given to a graduating McMinnville High School student for further study in art. The award is made in the name of the artist who wins the annual Oregon Wine & Art Auction theme competition.
Every year each of the elementary, middle and high schools selects an individual teacher from their respective school to receive special recognition from the Rotary Club of McMinnville . The club, at one of its meetings, presents a plaque and financial award to each teacher. Typically, the cash award has been used by the teacher to purchase needed materials and supplies for their classes.
PUBLIC SAFETY RECOGNITION:
Every year the club recognizes an outstanding individual from the Fire Service and the Law Enforcement Service which might include a member of the McMinnville Police Department and/or the Yamhill County Sheriff's Department.
